"I applied the oil given to me by the Pastor on my C.V and I received the job after 10 years of waiting. Praise God". Mr. John declared to the congregation. "Wow! That oil's got some power. I think I need to get some for me and my family". A sister from the congregation thought to herself just as Bro. John shared his testimony.
By the end of the long service, a handful of the brethren rallied around the Pastor to get a bottle of the "anointing oil" for their daily use.
The story above has become a dilemma in many churches today. Many have left the "real thing" and are going after shadows. They have rejected the place of faith through the Word by the use of material mediums. God wants His children to have a perfect understanding of spiritual principles. He doesn't want us to always find ourselves in a position where we don't understand what He desires of us. This is the reason why He gave us the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, "When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth", and that is what He is doing right now through His inspired words in this article.
You must understand that God never contradicts Himself. What He has said in His word stands. It doesn't how old your church doctrine is, what matters is what God has said concerning such doctrine - His thoughts towards such doctrines and those who practice them.
